Query regarding $500k gov. grant stated in today's age

Richmond and North Melbourne are the big winners in a $10.5 million funding boost to suburban football grounds.

The Tigers will receive $2.5 million to redevelop their Punt Road home, while the Kangaroos will get $2 million to spend on their rundown Arden Street base.

The Government has allocated $1.5 million for Essendon's Windy Hill site and $1 million for Melbourne Football Club's relocation to the ''rectangular stadium'' being built within the Olympic Park precinct.

The Western Bulldogs, Collingwood and St Kilda will each receive $500,000.
Is this the glorious bounty that we have received for Frankston? If so this is a big step backwards from the figures being proposed for the Moorabbin redevelopment...
