Our Strength is also our weakness

Post: # 583162Post samoht »

We have tall marking forwards - that's our strength.
Kosi and Riewoldt can take a lot of marks or at least contest marks inside 50.
But they dont kick enough goals - we can only rely on 1-2 goals from each.

So a lot of effort is put into delivering the ball to them - for little return.

And when the ball is spoilt from Kosi and Roos marking attempts and hits the ground we dont have crumbers, ground level players or at least not a good set up - there's usually 2 opposition players that pounce on the loose ball and rebound it with precision out of the danger zone and hurt us the other way.

It happened 90% of the time yesterday - we didnt have anyone set up or - a mid size ground level player - ready to pounce on the loose ball in our forward line, it just kept getting rebound by the dogs.

so our supposed strength is our weakness in disguise.[/b]

But while we have Ross the genius coaching we should be right. Milne out of FF for a half proves he really knowd what he is doing!

Dud. Go at the latest at the end of this year.
