Raph - 3 Year Contract?

Post: # 583774Post saintstevos »

i would personally like to see raph given an extended contract and able to prove his abilities with the club without the continued criticism he receives on this forum.

currently in positive talks for a new three year deal, i would be glad to see raph extended well past 2010 as he has plenty to offer the side.

so where does everyone stand on this matter. yay or nay on this one!

Love your thinking Stevos.

Why not a 5 year deal, and Fizz with another 3 year deal.

Good to see the club planning well into the future.

Poochy 1 2 3 4 and 5 should be reinstated!

The two brothers are no longer going to make a contribution to this team's success..X is chronically injury-prone, and R is just not up to this standard.

Exactly !!!! It scares me that people are willing to accept such poor standard and hang on and hope not wanting to just cut our losses and move on quickly before the talent we do have ages away.

It's true.... unfortunately... 3 years? what have you been smoking? he shouldnt even be on the list now let alone another 3 years... tell me what he possesses?

He's slow (don't care what anyone says)
Bad decision making
Dumb footy brain
Crap kicking
Terrible handballing
Gets cut up one on one
No intencity

Should i go on? Why persist and waste salary cap when we could be using all our picks in the draft and actually trying to uncover a gem...

I think it crunch time for both of the Clarkes. Lyon has to be brutally honest with both of them at the end of the year. X has been on the list for 8 seasons and we seem to get less out of him each year. Raph just hasn't developed the way a player of his supposed talent should.
The time has come for both of them. Given the short lists these days we cna't afford to have two players on the list who are lucky to get through half a season.
