Was Lennys quarter the best ever from any onballer

Post: # 591507Post plugger66 »

It was the most amazing quarter I have ever seen from an onballer. Got 75 dreamteam points according to the afl website.

I agree it was awesome.

However, I think G. Ablett's last quarter against th Swans this year was the best individual quarter I've seen.

In 2012, I'm still on the bus.

Unbelievable quarter from the next 'great man'.

Who knows what stats he could have racked up if he hadnt gotten injured.

Rotten luck for him and the club.

The last time he had a similar first quarter he ended up being tossed into a fence by one of the Scott brothers/thugs, breaking his hand. Purple patch!

Harvey has had many a quarter that influential, maybe not as impressive on the stat sheet but he has done it in more important matches against better opposition, however Lenny was on fire and it would have been great to see him play out the game...

Great quarter, but Freo coach's match ups from the start were hopeless, especially on Lenny. They forgot that he could play! Lyon, "pulled Harvey's pants down", which, in the end, is why we won.

Don't think Lenny is a big fan of Freo, always plays well against them. Loved that tackle of his on Palmer.

16 possessions in 23 minutes.

From what you're suggesting, Harvey pulled his own pants down and Lyon was beneficiary of another coach's ineptitude.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Lenny had a go right from the start he was on his way to 40+ possies huge shame he got injured :( I thought we might be in trouble after that but we pulled through. Lenny Hayes is a champion

Was a good quarter yes...a VERY good quarter and truly outstanding...

But most amazing ever seen = no.

Judd has had some snorters with better passing and more goals for example.

Lenny is a dead set gun and he sets the example, it's just a shame our players don't often follow it. The first quarter last night set the bench mark for what we should be like to be a serious contender, unfortunately Freo are extremely pathetic so we can't take much from it.
The kids were quite impressive and looked excited to be in the team, there were a few promising signs. McEcoy looked to cope well in the ruck and Eddy has great speed.
If Lenny and Rooey put in that effort/work rate like they so often do, these kids will have fine role models to measure up to not to mention the great Robert Harvey. tell me, has Harvey ever put in two ordinary games in a row in his whole career? and his 6 possies last week were due to injury. the man is a god, and MARK JOHNSON YOU ARE A DIRTY LOW LIFE THUG AND I THINK I ACTUALLY FEEL SORRY FOR YOU YOU POOR EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING.
that is all.
