The umpiring was really bad last night. I thought they were favoured by the maggots in the first half and we were in the second.

However, that article really is priceless. I love this bit.....

To their credit though, Fremantle didn't get sucked in. They ran the gauntlet and ...... They tackled ferociously, they threw themselves at the ball, they took the man on and they showed a spirit that few clubs on the end of such a crucifixion would have been able to maintain.

Talk about one-eyed. The Dockers performance was one of the limpest, pathetic efforts from an AFL team in many a year. IMO they were worse than Melbourne a few weeks ago.

Perhaps they've just become so accustomed to ineptitude that they can convince themselves that last night was anything other than disgraceful....

My favourite part of the second article is the reference to "heroine needles" taken by our fans who travel to see the team play. These needles are quite distinct from those needles used to inject 'heroin'. Presumably, they are needles that only women fans take, in order to make the trip there easier... it almost suggests that a woman would hav to be the a hero - or rather, the female equivalent - in order to visit their club!

i think im still on ban over there after i made coment about the whispers in the sky debarcle . seriously Freo fans are a special breed they seriously belive they have a winning formula picking up the cast offs from a bottom four club at least our cast offs come from successful clubs
