Too all the SE Quessnsland Sainters and those who travelled up...you should be proud of yourselves with the noise you made

Sounds like we had 75% of the crowd support..your roaring support of the boys and the song in the last qtr sounded awesome...

WELL DONE!!!!!!!!

I second that. It sounded like a home crowd ... sensational effort!

Yep, it was our home match by the crowd support, but unlike Tassie perhaps we can play footy up there.

A lot less wind in Surfers compared to Lonnie plus a bit warmer.

Perhaps a sold off game or two next year may not be a huge onfield disaster for us???

Makes you wish we could bring them to TD for our home games there.
Might make a difference.

Yep. Agree thoroughly. Well done guys and gals.

Perhaps a couple of away games up there next year wouldn't be too bad a thing......

Yep great work! Played a crucial element to the game in the late stages.

Just wondering who was the supporters who had the birssy banner, was it a forumite?

It definitely seemed like we had the crowd on our side. Great to hear the Saints song in the stands towards the end of the game.

When you wait that long for the first goal you may as well enjoy it. :D

Was a fun night considering how poorly we started and it was great to see and hear so many enthusiastic St Kilda supporters.

Pleased to hear that support was picked up on the tv too.

I was in the third row behind the North cheer squad. There was this big bloke abusing Milne, Harvey and basically anyone he could.
It was great seeing him get quieter and quieter as the game went on!!!

One day it's all got to be worth it.

You guys were awesome! :D I could hear you guys in Darwin!

To think the 'knowledgable' Christi had the cheek to say that the crowd needed to learn something about cheering. Where was the dip stick standing? No where near the audio!

I could clearly hear the booing of the outrageous umpiring decisions, the cheering of saint goals, the singing of the theme song and the St Kilda chant. The chant actually reminded me of my young days at Moorabin in the 70s! :D

It really came alive in the 4th because there was so much to get loud about.

You guys were awesome. I love the Saints! I love Saints supporters! What a fantastic night.

We are heading to Melbourne next week and will be taking in the Blues match while we are there. We'll add our bit to make TD rock as much as Carrara seemed to.

Hey, I was in row E behind the kangas cheer squad. I started going mental in the last quarter when we started to run over them. The bloke abusing harvs in the first quarter didnt say a word in the last !

The old Jiggster was up there in the "corporate pigsty" (PARTY DECK) (very nice steaks by the way) with three North supporters who were giving me a hard time (good-natured I hasten to add!) in that AWFUL first quarter.
But as the boys started lifting they could NOT stop the old jiggster joining in with the rest of the folks in trying to lift the noise levels
An ugly win, sure! But those folks giving their vocal support certainly "prettified" the night!
The hospitality shown by all at Broadbeach was amazing and to anyone I met at "Liars" bar after the game you're a credit to the town and to our club!!!!

I am glad it came over so well on TV.

I was at the game and was amazed at the level of support in numbers and in passion. All parts of the ground were chanting and singing at different stages of the night. It was almost like the old Moorabbin days.

We Melbourne based supporters could learn a lot from Saturday night.

Great noise! A few of the commentators said that it definitely played a part in lifting the boys.

I was surprised by Christi Malthouse's comments because it seemed to me to be quite a loud crowd.

Loud away support is worth an incredible amount.
