although I thought I saw somewhere that Big Ben had been given two years? so would take him to end of 2010.

says he has next year! why would they sign him for that long? hes hardly going to be approached by another club

interesting. means another year of fiora and raph next year.

quite a few guys at the end of contracts this year and next.

He should have his papers marked.

Enough chances at two clubs, he looked disinterested during the pre season matches & took that into the season proper. A monumental stuff up if he's been given a multi year deal.

It is a pity as he looked like he had finally come good last year... maybe he was just up for contract negotiations & played out of his skin.

Keep bringing the kids through.

I'd say he'll be traded or delisted.
The only club that might want him though, is Port, coz that's where he's from.
He's a list clogger for mine!

i hav2 disagree with u guys, i njoy watchin him play and just hope he can pick up his game a bit and come bak into the top 22 for tha Saints.

..but thats just me

At his best he can be so damaging, 50-60m out on the flank. Last year, there were times were you would back him to get a goal every time from that position.

But his best is/was few and far between

Last year he was about 1-11 from shots on the run. That "killer" left foot was off target far more often than on target.

He can play, but doesn't do enough with his talent, and shouldn't be played in the seniors in front of the kids. I'd much rather have Birss than Fiora in the side; Birss will always give a contest, and is a better goal kicker.

unlike Brooks, Murray, Watts, McGough etc and pbly Ferguson too

Looks certain that he will be traded/delisted. Obviously has talent and has shown some promise at times, but has been too inconsistent for too long and is too much of a passenger to be kept on the list.
