Collingwood captain Scott Burns admitted he wouldn't be motivated to support Heath Shaw if he came under physical scrutiny.

I thought it odd he would almost 'ask' oppositon to take him out.

Collingwood will find a way to twist it... difference being this weekend their season is on the line and they need both players playing and playing well.

Malthouse has already publicly said that players get different treatment depending on who they are, Shaw hasn't stuffed up before (i don't think) and Didak will somehow weezle out of it i suspect.

Since today’s press conference, the Collingwood Football Club has established that Alan Didak was in fact a passenger in Heath Shaw’s car on Sunday night.

The sanction imposed on Heath by the club on Monday was a result of information stated by both Heath and Alan after being repeatedly questioned about the incident.

Given the club has now found their information to be false, it strikes at the principles of honesty and integrity that the Collingwood Football Club is built on.

For this reason, the sanction imposed today will be immediately reviewed by the club, and media will be notified of a press conference to be held on Tuesday.

I won't be surprised to see the club axe them for the remainder of the season. After their piss poor attempt at handling the issue today, it would smooth the damage somewhat and show the club actually stands for something, even if it kills their season on field.
