Someone told me that they floated a rumour that Archie was in 'big trouble' and was going to be replaced by Cameron Schwab?

Why is he supposed to be in trouble?

I guess on past form old Archie Macbeth has been trying to undermine one or all of Westaway, Drain, Lyon or Frankston!!

I agree that Schwab wouldn't, on the face of it, be much of an improvement. But at least the rest of the club would probably feel comfortable walking through a door in front of him!!

but doesnt cameron schwab have a pretty poor record with football clubs in any capacity???

he seems to be a darling of the media and that somehow makes him a great ceo/cfo/leader/something

i don't know how archie goes as an administrator, but from what i've heard he should stay out of decisions involving football and players.

Schwab did alright at Freo. They went from making losses to making

money. Isn't that his role.

Would be bad news.

Archie is a lot better than he gets credit for, and is repsected by the AFL and those at other clubs.

He's a damn sight better than Schwab anyway. At least Archie has experience with hundred million dollar international businesses where he has been successful. And he's done pretty well with us.

Schwab has a purple anchor.
