no disrespect to 35, however..
this team has been looking to move on for the best part of eighteen months.
with guys like gram, reiwoldt, hayes and co. the list is great.
hopefully the club can secure some good signatures in the off-season,
allowing this group to really prosper.
there is some serious trade-bait amongst the players,
although there is some real talent aswell.
the saints are rising up and there is no doubt about it.
ross lyon is the best thing that has happened for the club in fifty years.
it has been shown that st. kilda is a genuine top four team.
now the target is a GF in the next two years.
thanks harves, it was great mate,
we need to make a stand and a GF now.
phuk the media!
- we are the champions.

only if he gives us a flag!
otherwise he is as good as thomas. not as good as alves. and not as good as jeans
Two things stood out the this trite..
1) Lyon the best thing to happen to the Saints in 50 years??
2) Harvey holding the club back for 18 months??
The way I see it Harvey's been the best thing that happened to the club in many a year, Lyon still yet to prove himself.. Yeah we finished 4th this season but we were inconsistent & played some horrible football, hardly anything to boast about..

EXACTLY why we have a lot to look forward to. We didn't play well and still managed to make top 4 and play in a prelim. Can you imagine how much better we can do if we play good consistent football?Halo Halo wrote:Two things stood out the this trite..

So sick to death of the doom and gloom in here and posters wanting to trade away almost our entire team! This is not the answer. We need to draft well to compliment what we already have. St Kilda supporters have a lot to answer for this year! Hardly any noise was made at the grounds unless we were certainties to win and the St Kilda numbers at the Prelim game were disappointing to say the least. How about next year we ramp up the noise and get out in greater numbers to support the boys instead of wanting to trade them all to other clubs! *end rant*
Don't argue with an idiot - people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

1- if you're refering to RL coz he's an outsider and can make the unemotional hard decisions to take this club fwd, then I agree. If you're refering to his coaching... I'm 85% sold atm.Pilgram wrote:this team has been looking to move on for the best part of eighteen months.

2- If you're refering to an over reliance on 35 then I also agree. In a perfect world, the improvement of our mids should have made him redundant. 2 years ago, but they haven't.
Bulldogs will go on without West... we still need to fill a hole now that 35 is gone (btw I'm not comapring the 2).
The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.
