Geelong's Max Rooke has the chance this week to establish a unique VFL - AFL record for the history of the game.
If Rooke is a member of a winning Geelong team against Hawthorn, he will become the first man to string together 28 successive occasions as a member of a winning team in the history of the game.
Rooke missed the Cats’ defeat by Collingwood earlier this year, as well as the loss to Port Adelaide last year due to injury, meaning his last 27 apperances at senior level have seen him play in victories.
Rooke is currently the joint record-holder with teammate Camerong Ling, who had his streak broken with the loss to Collingwood earlier this year.
Interesting statistic for Max Rooke
