Another step in taking the game from the grass roots supporters. Not everyone can afford to pay the high prices the AFL/ St Kilda asks but they do deserve respect expecially those who have been members for so long.

Good luck with the fight I hope you get a fair hearing and some positive responses.

I think Saint75 is just saying that L2 seats are the most expensive you can buy & that if the extra cost of the SC is causing people financial distress then there are other cheaper options that they can take out.

I'm sure that everyone would prefer to sit in the best seats but that's life unfortunately. We all make decisions as to what we can & cannot afford & have to live with it. My wife & I lash out on our L2 seats as it's a little luxury that we can afford. There will come a time when we may have to make a decision on whether we can still afford it with other expenses getting more & more expensive.

The club has to be smarter in terms of growing the membership base these days. Continual membership cost increases with no improvement in services will see a significant drop off in numbers. The membership recognition program is a crock too. 15% off ridiculously high priced merchandise (the mark up would have to be about 200%!).

But remember they are giving one of our away games a free entry due to us playing a home game in Gold Coast vs Melb.
Make no difference to those who hold a 16 game membership! They will get into that game anyway!

It's just a grab for money in order to pay for the cost blowout for the "elite training facility" which will be a bloody expensive white elephant when the club folds due to lack of membership!

I'm going to quit my job, go on the dole, get my teeth pulled out and barrack for Collingwood. Well, maybe not... but Melbourne Storm is looking good for a couple of new members for next season!

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.
