Hi all thought that it was a good performance from our lads tonight...just wanted to see what other people though on goddards game...
i thought that he didnt play a good game or a bad game to be honest....i would say below par....he was on goodes for the entire night basically and goodes destroyed us throughout the game....he was their only shining light....now dont get me wrong bj is one of our best players and if he is to play in the middle he needs to be a bit more accountable. we all know that this year he will spend more time in the midfield and opposition coaches will look to put an offensive player on him as the tag will most likely go to dal.......these are just my view on him tonigh...

i wouldnt go to say that he was good.....average is more like it....prob just had a bad night but he was defiantly toweled up by goodes in this game....having said that with the inclusions of hayes bj playing at his best and roo having an impact the side is looking very dangerous if everyone can put on the effort like they did in the 2nd and 3rd quarter we are looking pretty goodSaintWodonga wrote:BJ was still good, but he has plenty of upside, so it's a good sign.

I thought he was great. Goodes had to really earn his touches (14 were contested) and he had little impact on the game. He had 9 ineffective disposals, 4 of which were clangers. Goddard had a game-high 7 clearances. His ball use wasn't to his usual high standard. I still thought he was one of our best though.
Yeah nah pleasing positive

I agree, and I think he has always shown that leadership quality. A real asset and a good player to watch. His disposal wasnt as sharp as it usally is last night but he was still very effective and was influential in the end result.Enrico_Misso wrote:He will win our B&F this year.
And assume a much greater on-field leadership role.
