Russell Greene and Mark Greene.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. That's got to be the winner, doesn't it? Poor Geoff (an ex-Saint too!), Gary was a universe away from him.

Geoff played around 200 games so he could play. Kevin wasnt so good.

Geoff was one of the best players in the league at his peak.

Kevin was famous for taking the headband off Bruce Doull. Doull went nuts.

Stevo did play again after doing his knee against Essendon (he had 5 goals up before half time), eleven games in fact. However, as you say, with no knee ops, and at just 25 his career was effectively over. Never knew he had a brother.

There's the Cordys from Footscray. All average players, and one a worse commentator.

One of them's a pretty poor speller if their child's name is anything to go by.

Renato?
Renato was a star for Frankston in the VFA after he left Firzroy. From memory he kicked 90 odd goals in 1979 to be second in the VFA goalkicking.

And then went onto a career as a pizza maker

Another opportunity awaits!

The four Danihers were all pretty useful players in their day.

We had the 3 Elliots, Glenn, Robert and Bruce.

True. Sorry Geoff. Gablett Snr just cast such a huge shadow...it'd really suck for the sibblings.

That being the case then, I rate Gary v Alan Sidebottom as chalk and cheese.

Can't believe it took that long to mention Jim and Edna's boys. They had a cousin, Mick, who also played.

shame we didn't see enough of the most talented of them in Neale.

There was a brace of Moorwoods too, Tony (Swans) and Paul (Swans and Saints), who were good...possibly another at Collingwood who was a bit average? Paul was useful for us, if I remember correctly.

The other brother was Shane who was also going to come to us but chose not to wait for the Foschini court case that would ultimately allow Paul Morwood to play for us.

Paul won a B&F for us in the late 80's (1986?)

Shane! That's him...thanks. Actually, he wasn't too bad a player...just played for The Filth.

Or Eljay's even lesser known brother Daniel at Richmond

Our '66 Premiership hero, Ian Cooper, along with his older brother Graham, who was a premiership player in Hawthorns 1961 team. Both could play a bit!!!

Darren and Sean Millane.

This is stretching the topic a bit. Sean was a decent player, and won a premiership with Dandenong, but never up to AFL standard.
