They didn't replay it check for the news later or on a highlights package somewhere. It was good, quick and at a time when we needed it.

Very good soccer off the ground, a clever trap by Kosi to get it to him.

It was Premier League stuff, a volley from 15 metres out and beat the keeper. Even though he is a white guy it was not out of place in Indigenous Round.

Haven't seen it... but Kosi said on MMM that he spilt the mark so he could set it up for Milney.

Which one? - they were all great....

I liked the slow-mo of the one off the ground - shows him twist his foot to get better contact...

Or was it the set shot from 50m to give us the lead?

...or was it the shot around the body after the hurried pass from Roo....

Was it Commetti that said - no goals from Scheider or Milne to three quarter time - can Brisbane keep them quiet for the entire match?

I don't think so - great game-breaking goals from Milney when we needed it.

Had no idea how it got to his boot until the replay. The play was over in the blink of an eye. Great stuff. Good thinking by Kosi and great finish by Milne.

Great last quarter by the little rat. A front runner who can't produce under pressure I'm told

Perhaps he's considering an NFL punting career

He brought us back into it, then I thought he'd lost it for us, then he sealed it. Classic Milne.

Up until the last quarter....he was clearly Worst on Ground....

he has to be better than that.....more consistent effort over the game.....his defensive pressure was woeful and he was back to his old habits......

but he did do what he does best.....kick crucial goals...

Milney - geez he can turn it over - just tries to steer his passes too much and he is a goal sneak but not actually that fast..............but he is great and a long term fantastic servant of the club.

Should have been dragged/kicked up the butt (told to go back to sandy and only come back when his footy brain ticks team) in the last when he prefered a solo/selfish act rather than popping it over to Kos for certain goal.

This would have iced the game instead of keeping it alive.

Reminiscent to him loosing the final against melbourne....he still gets too selfish most times to the teams detriment

There was one point where he looked incredibly fast. He certainly isn't slow...

awesome last term by Milne - and let's not forget the jarred knee he copped early in the match - that could've caused him to struggle into the final term.

Agree. Thought the worst for the lil fella for a minute there..really looked in pain.

Drop him to the Zebra's?? Pfft. last week Milneys defensive pressure was second to none. This week not so, but he wasnt Robinson Crusoe there.

Yes he had a brain fade trying to run in and seal the game himself..but thats Milney. You're also gonna get those special goals like the soccer one today and the blinder against Port.

Just as well Motlop, Davis, Betts and Rioli never make mistakes isnt it?

He's probably the slowest, most selfish, small forward that has kicked 350 plus goals in the AFL....

Lucky he doesn't read the rubbish posted on here....

Hope he pulled up OK as we need this selfish, slow small forward with no defensive side to his game....

Milne is better than all the small indigenous forwards.
He has the goals on the scoreboard to prove it.
White men can jump and kick goals too.

ridiculous, drop him for not handballing? The game would have been iced in brisbanes favour had he not fired up. Its performances like that that win games, its unfathomable how anyone could be angry at milne after that game. He won it for us. Wasnt best on ground, not by a long shot, but when we needed someone to provide a spark, he lit up.

One of about six carrying injuries at the moment (incl. Luke Ball, Nick Riewoldt, Jason Blake, Lenny Hayes, Jason Gram and Steven Baker) but they seem to find a way through the game. Their training is very light during the week.

Superb goal.

It went high and sailed through the middle. Couldn't call it soccered. In soccer it would have cleared the bar by metres!!

Marvellous sight at a crucial point in the game.

milne dropped? seriously?

he's kicked 20.9 for the year and had 6 goal assists. that's 2.2 goals a game. 2.7 tackles a game. riewoldt, kosi and milne are well ahead of anyone else, including schneider, in goals per game.

a team needs a small forward. so the only reason to drop him is because someone else can do the job better. we don't have any other 50 goal a year small forwards. the reason we don't have any is because there are very few of them in the competition. (schneider's best was 30 in his first year at sydney.)

so let's not drop the other dimension of our forward line, please.
