But do they sing the right words? I note they sing, how I want to be "in" St Kilda, etc, I thought it was, how I want to be "with" St Kilda.

Ok, I have just checked my cd of the song and they sing it wrong. Will tell them about that next week :wink:

Perhaps they are confued with the "IN that number' of the orginal spiritual lyrics??

has anyone else noticed at games though how we of late tend to just clap along with the song, rather than sing it with gusto?

As players I think they have the right to want to be 'in' St Kilda. The rest of us have to settle for being 'with' St Kilda. :D

not here- the siren had barely sounded, and we were off to the news
the end of the fox replay atleast showed them wandering around the ground but missed Lenny being chaired off

For once Qld got the chairing off and the song. No interviews in the rooms though, still better than Mainevent. Loved the half time interview with Joey as well. Nice house.

To be shot down for this comment for sure.

I do think its a crap song , however love singing it at winning games ,,

Whilst AC/DC are touring in Oz , perhaps we could get them to write us a new one .

Having said i don't like our song (i am sure i aint alone there) it is 100% better than Freo's

An acca Dacca song would bring us new memberships alone.

Do they sing in wrong or does the cd have the wrong words

it depends on how you look at it

as an outsider looking in we are 'with St.Kilda'

they are 'in' St.Kilda as they play for them

however, sometimes i feel as though i play for them

Although I learnt AAF at a young age , I am inclined to agree with you Thinline,,

WTF is girt anyway ?? When was the last time anyone used the word girt in a sentence ,,, perhaps the police at a seige saying ,,

"Come out ,, we have the house girt "

This is what the National Anthem should be ,,



Check it out ,,, AAF done to the tune of Jimmy's working class man.

Gets my vote for sure.
