I think we made $184.36 profit.

Surely we can raise some more here...

It seems we've lost a lot of supporters for various reasons in the previous two years. However you would think our crowds would be at there maximum at the moment? Maybe they are...is it possible 3-4000 supporters have died in the past 2 years? A look at the cross section of the crowd shows that in ten years time,a lot of these people won't be with us anymore...
Is our supporter base dying..literally?

Good point jonesy, the demographic of our supporters does seem to be mainly baby boomers and earlier.

Did we get any form of compensation for missing out on a full house against the magpies because of the monday night schedule?

It was Collingwood's home game.

if we need to get 30,000 to make money then we can thank the 800 lions supporters for getting us over the line

NOISE was good though..

I thought the crowd was really quiet for a large part of the game. I could actually here the players and umpires.

Crap crowd.

For comparison, Hawks vs Melbourne at the even crappy timeslot of twilight got 39K today, 9K more than us!

Melbourne don't exactly have a lot of support - prob not much more than Brissie.

....so how big (or small?) is our bandwagon now?

It seemed much bigger in 2004/05.

BUt in reality the hawks have 50,000 members- where were they today- still two melbourne teams wre playing at he G- so 39,000 is not a greta number either
we played the lions who are NOT coming off a premiership season

I thought it was a pretty respectable turn-out for a Sunday arvo game vs an interstate team myself.

Were you at the game?

Because I didn't notice you at your reserved seat

It's just that if you were not at the game and then state it was a crap crowd is a little shallow...

By the way your, comparison is way off...

Melbourne have 30,855 members (Target was for 30,000)

Hawks have 51,804 members

Brisbane have 25,804 members

To state that Melbourne have not much more supporters than Brisbane in Victoria is way off.

9k more than our game when you compare memberships of both the hawks and Melbourne and we were playing an interstate side is pretty good IMO

Brisbane in 2004 and 2005 is when they just finished a hat trick of premierships and your comparison to back then is worthless stats
