I would like to start a thread about the great form of our number 23, on the back of another fantastic effort on the weekend.

You have to admit he has had a fair share of negative threads in the past, so it's only fair we have the occasional postitive one.

Well done Justin!

Yeah I was v happy again with him. He was playing on a first gamer I think wasnt he? Still, he like no other player in the comp relies on stringing games and consistant performances together to get the best out of himself.

So for me, the only question is, can he stay injury free? If he can, I have 110% confidence he can have a rocket of a year.

Great to see him putting some consistent performances together. I loved his chase and tackle yesterday. Can't remember which Brion got pinged but Kosi was hard it, fierce and executed an excellent tackle to win the pill.

well you can only beat who you are up against.

at the start of the season i was far from convinced he was going to make it as a key forward, but he is proving me wrong.

he's leading and presenting strongly, holding his marks and using his body well in the contests.

importantly, he's kicking crucial goals.

Agree but can still improve.

Missed an easy shot.
And twice out positioned his opponent but dropped (difficult) chest marks at the Lockett end in the 3rd quarter.

Kosi has surprised many Saints supporters (including myself) this year.

He is contributing well and not getting in Roo's way (or maybe Roo's not getting in Kosi's way) like last year.

Good to see him playing forward where he belongs. He aint a ruckman's bootlace.

Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Thanks for contributing to our thread Bernard, you have surprised many Saints supporters (including myself) by doing so

I am so pleased to see him playing up to his potential. He has always been one of the very best contested pack mrks in the AFL, just as he was pre-AFL.

What I have been impressed about is that he is kicking very STRAIGHT and the ball is not shanking and snaking off the boot as we used to see in some instances in past years. Even in the shots that he has missed he has just not picked the line eaactly correct and the shot has continued on STRAIGHT, not shanked.

It has been good watching him kick some shots from beyond the 50m mark. Just beautiful STRAIGHT kicking. We just haven't been used to seeing this!

Good Luck Kosi and keep up the great work!

Read something a few years back that in every game where Kosi has kicked 3 or more goals we've won. Found it quite interesting so started keeping track of it. Apart from one blemish last year it's spot on. Had I been able to see/hear the game on Sunday I would have been able to relax rather than be stressed listening to the last 5 mins on the radio. :)

I thought this comment from the HS was a good one.....

"Lenny Hayes, Leigh Montagna and Luke Ball were brilliant in the midfield, and Justin Koschitzke showed what a force he could be in September.

It might have been his most authoritative performance in four or five years.

While the stats weren't huge, his marking (eight) and finishing work (4.1) were excellent.

He is a man mountain moving with impressive mobility"

Those grabs he took...no doubt one of the best marks in the comp.

Roo and Kosi compliment each other very well.

Not sure why it's taken 9 years to click!

It has taken so long for them to click because they persisted in playing him in the ruck. He IS NOT ruckman, he is a key forward and he is finally playing where he belongs.

Great work Kosi! Amazing game today! :D

There were those who wanted to trade him, not me, after all if you have a supposedly bad season and still kick 30 goals, well you can't be that bad.
This year he has played 9 and a bit games and has kicked 27 and is an important reason we are 11.0.

So spot on saint 75, and tis was why I was rapt when Lyon went for ruckmen so kosi could play in the foward line, not only does that suit him, it also makes roo more dangerous

massive kosi fan

I have said a long time ago, a fully fit kosi and palyed in the foward line is of our most important player, he has to be in the team if we want to win the flag.
