Nothing controversial, but did his job. Short answers. Half the questions were about trivia/favourite colour rather than football.

All comments from Goddard, unless otherwise stated.
Difference between RL and GT:
GT - great motivator. RL - loves his football.

Role inside team. Playing in forward line - flexibility in team structure.

Tudor: Improved structure, kosi and nick running into each other less, 18 man zone.

On losing 2 finals: Exposed with structure, gained experience, Raph, gilbert standing up against pies.

No changes: Predictable/trust each other more. Put down to the resurfacing of Moorabbin. More cautious approach -not pushing through.

Gardiner: (walls - disappointing act to get suspended, but fan of MG).
Hard to fit Dawson, Maguire, Hudghton in same team

Nick's kicking: Ball drop isn't as low as it should be. Trying to improve. Thinking about a lot of things.

Gram: Didn't meet standards in his rehab.

Harvey: No longer too strange to see him in Blues.

Asked about Carlton drafting him: Disappointed, but changed his mind as soon as he walked through the door.

Half-Brother: Disappointing to read that people questioning his intentions. Some people saw negative side in it.

Stats: Tackles and contested footy matter most.

Half-Back: Important, set up the play.

Pre-game routine: doesn't listen to music, can doze off.[/i]

Interesting to hear him say he doses off in the rooms sometimes before games...wouldn't have thought that from an AFL player. M.Waugh used to do the same before he had to bat...whatever works for you I guess.
