The only change should be a forced one

Out: Gardiner
In: McEvoy

Why exactly does Mini need a break? Is it time for his rostered day off or something?

Milne will be a forced in if he is fit...someone has to make way...Raph may be the unlucky one.

Milne, McEvoy --> R Clarke, Gardiner (susp)

Also need to look at getting Max in before the bye.

Who makes way?

Raph is a half back flanker and Milne is a foward pocket so it couldnt be a straight swap. Gwilt might go out for Milne as both are fowards.

Would just require a re jig of structure...gwilt can play back if required.

Why mini out??

This year Mini........

Averages 4 tackles a match

Has kicked 9:4 in ten matches

and has had 8 score assists.

Near half of his 153 disposals have been contested...

Dont you understand. Some players get tired during the year but it seems its never Rooy, Hayes, Joey, Dal and Bally. Its only the bottom 6 who seem to get tired.

JABBER, suggesting Mini needs a rest, suggests to me that you are just jabbering.

Anyone who thinks Mini will get dropped knows nothing about how the saints are going about things this year or even since Dal + Milney got dropped.

Effort is the key, playing your role and doing the team things. To borrow a Paganism "thats Mini in a nutshell".

Like most I think

In: Milne and Mc.
Out: Raph and Gards.

Still hoping my man goose get the nods though.

In: Milne
Out: Gardner

Kosi to do rucking, King resting in the square and rejig the forward line.

Out: gardiner, blake (omit)
In: McEvoy, Maguire

Giuve Milne another week, why rush back?
Gilbert will be fine only a little sprained ankle - with rest and oxygen chamber easily done.

If the above happens as it should, ill be stoked!!
GO SAINTS!!

As for Raph out?? get off it he has just come back to AFL give him a chance FFS

Kosi rucking, I hope not...I would be more inclined to let Blake have a go.

Agreed...

To me it suggest that he does not attend matches and or know F*** all about the game...
he needs a break
Again....

Mini...

Averages 4 tackles a match

Has kicked 9:4 in ten matches

and has had 8 score assists.

Near half of his 153 disposals have been contested...

So jabber, in your opinion Steven can do better

Clue...

Watch a game and if you do, well that says enough for me....

You know very little IMO

Getting Milne into the side is this week's conundrum. I can't see Ross dropping Gwilt or McQualter (hint: not everyone's role requires them to take 10 marks and kick 4 goals like Riewoldt). The two competing forces are structure (i.e. like for like replacement) and stability (i.e. minimal changes). I think the latter will win out and tentatively tip the following:

Out: Gardiner
In: Milne

RL obviously likes 2 ruckman so Ben if fit plays for sure. Milney if fit comes in for Raph. No other changes as I see it.

then Gram came in for Milne
so surely Gram or Raph could go back out for Milne !!!

IMO Raph needs another chance - he needs confidence - with confidence to back himself he is a great player.

Silly move to drop him IMO.

Milney if fit is a definite in.

Perhaps out Gardy in Milne and one less ruck (ie. Kosi in the ruck??).

My gut feel is Gilbo won't come up, so it will be:

OUT: Gardy & Gilbo

IN: McEvoy & Milne

probably because 20 goals 9 behinds in 9 games suggests he's a very important player for us.

obviously mcevoy in for gardiner.

if milne is fit then he has to come in. probably gram back out or else gwilt. raph deserves a bit more time to play into some form - gwilt's had 10 rounds.

IN: McEvoy, Milne
OUT: Gardiner, Gram
