SPUD has UPDATED !!

Danny Frawley has finally updated to a 2009 model saints jumper (with a bit of clever marketing from the club) for that skit he does with Jason Dunstall on "Before the Bounce" called YESTERDAY's HEROS on FoxSports on Friday nights. Spud is seen in his "NEW" jumper, complete with JELD-WEN logo in the promos for this weeks show. This replaces the old one with a TOOHEYS logo that must have been from his playing days. Yes, this is only a small detail as far as the club is concerned but little things like this add to the perception of professionalism of our club. Someone should buy a beer for the person who thought of getting Spud a NEW jumper

PS. This week's skit looks like it will be very funny. They are down at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre where they are having a diving competition, using the 1M springboard right up to the 10M tower. What is sure to make it even funnier is that Spud is scared of heights !!

Carlton complained about Spud advertising Tooheys in competition with their favourite piss.
FoxSports had no choice but to comply.

Good to know this is still causing unrest all these years on.
Remember the sh1tfight when we first got Tooheys as a sponsor?

We weren't even allowed to mention the brand on the banner, it had to be '2-hees'

We had Tooheys Red as our sponsor & Melbourne had Tooheys Blue at the same time.
I'm pretty sure that when the two clubs played, it was for the 'Tooheys Cup'

I was only thinking the other day that Spud needs an update. Good to see.

I believe the jumper was from his final game in 95 against the Dogs, apparently he didn't take it off for a while as well :lol:
