Are the Hawks that big a rabble? The Dogs seem to be sneaking up from behind to snap at the heels of the front runners and this loss may just lift the Doggy spirit.
Unfortunately its the Saints who tackle them next. I know our concern is one week at a time. I just hope we have the choker chain ready when we do come up against this doggy outfit. They are growing in confidence and need a little obedience training.

Yes, certainly their foot skills are as good as any other team. They are a similar team to Geelong in many ways and anyone who dismisses them is foolish. In fact, the top four seem to be consolidating their positions at the moment, although it is by no means certain which two teams will occupy the top two positions. That is why today's game is so important, somewhat surprisingly, more so for Geelong than us.
One will lose next week nd they play each other again before season end.

And puh-lease... On the basis of last night's effort, I cannot wait for our mob to take on the Hawks...
They were slow by foot AND disposal, hesitant, uncommunicative (judging by the number of holding the ball tackles against them and the silly number that were valid but unpaid) and all round lethargic. We would have absolutely dismantled them much in the same vein as the Woofs.
If the Sainters put in an effort like that I'd expect I'd landed myself back in 1982 or some such...
And Buddy the wonder boy is CLEARLY fat.
They are a rabble. They've given up.
