Pretty hard picking a top 5. No great stand outs but a pretty good overall effort.

I would have been amazed at 3 qtr time if my present self came back and told me Gilbert wasn't best on ground by the end of the game. Hayes was the match-winning mid, Gardiner was simply sensational.

5 - Hayes
4 - Gardiner
3 - Gilbert
2 - Koschitzke

Unlucky: Goddard, Blake, Riewoldt.

Surprising how much Fisher and McQualter dropped off after dominant 1st quarters.

I don't normally vote in these things but...

5: Sam Gilbert
4: Lenny Hayes
3: Michael Gardiner
2: Sam Fisher
1: Jason Blake

Selwood and Bartel were absolutley inspirational for the Cats. I'd hate to be giving the 3-2-1 for this one.

The Phoenix Suns and St.Kilda Saints should have at least 5 championships between them since their sudden surge to elite status in 2004.

Actual championships: 0

Gilbert, Gards, Goddard, Roo played well, not so enthused about Lenny's game regardless of his disposal count, though did a couple of telling plays in the end -I thought our midfield generally got a bit lost on the day. In the end a great TEAM effort..I repeat TEAM effort. As someone else has posted
