We have just completed Round 17

in previous final series we have received numerous injuries between

R 18 -22

yes (and touch wood) our low number continues this year.

Yes our management does seem better.

So far, so good. Injury lists for "Rounds" 23, 24,.... will tell the story I suppose. Our most serious injuries over the last five years have been knees (Luke, Aaron, Lenny and Brendon) and a leg (Matthew). Not much anyone could have done to prevent those. The same was the case in 1997. If we avoid those types of injuries I will be grateful.

I am more concerned about the finals trend of loosing our ruckman for the G day.
Spider, Dietrich - I hope they all remember to keep their elbows pinned to their side!!

If everyone speeds, why haven't you been overtaken?

You mean Marlena??? Wasn't she an actress??

Perhaps it is big Carl Ditterich to whom you refer?? He did indeed miss the 66 GF - but it mattered not, as Bryan Mynott carried the rucks on that wonderful day. Big Carl played in the 71 GF.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Good article...but not quite accurate in stating that Kosi is the only player missing from our best 22 due to injury.

X fit and firing is still cpable of being in that team.

However his injury was not a soft tissue injury.

Riewoldt wrote:"Our guys have really improved in how they prepare and recover during the Monday to Friday leading into a game," he said. "That's been the area I think you've really seen an increase in the professionalism from the playing group, and staff as well.
After reading that it's not surprising that Gram was dropped after missing a physio session.

They realise now how vitally important preparation and recovery is.
