Bana is awesome but Letterman is a muppet. Talking about footy being gay, Irish sports like hurling and gaelic football.

Eric Bana would be a bloke you could really just hang out with. Next time he is in town we should try and get him up to the wing with us. I reckon he would be the loudest of us all :D

Reminds me of an interview with the late guitar player Stevie Ray Vaughan who was a fan of Aussie Rules and used to sit at home in Texas with his guitar in his lap watching the odd game here and there.

Good bloke is Eric Bana. He spoke very well on every topic last night, even as Letterman mentioned the other sports.

Letterman is good though. Always entertaining interviews and not just about the movie or show the subject is promoting. I enjoy watching the show each night....although I could do without Paul Schaffer's sound effects in the background.

And yes, Eric is on SS.....username is 'stinger'.

True.

Letterman is the only late nite TV I watch. He's quite clever and quick.

People should understand that the USA is all about the USA, and minor sports like AFL don't get much coverage over there.

His reference to "gay" was directed at the term "footy"... not the game itself.

His character in the movie Funny People (with Adam Sandler, I've heard its very good) is a mad Australian who is a big Saints fan - his room is decorated with Saints stuff, it's hilarious. And does make the heart beat very fast.

 Old Eric was sat behind me on level 2 at the G for the Sf in 2004 (V Sydney) I was acting in my usual manner :? at every goal we scored...poor old Eric hardly cracked a smile..but then I guess he had to play it low-key Unlike the Jiggster! Its odd but the following week I found meself sitting near Michael Gdinksi (hope I've spelt that right :? ) and Molly M at Moron Park for the PF (V Port)...NONE of us cracked a smile after THAT one!
Its great to see people like Eric promoting our Saints! good on 'em I say!

I saw him a few times in the members reserve at Waverley in the 90s. He's a celebrity Saint who actually turns up to games.
