Trade week starts after the season, why would they say that, Ball is better than Kerr why would we throw in a first rounder

if they throw in brown i might consider it 8-)
but seriously if thats true (which it probably isnt) we'd be getting majorly ripped off. Kerr has shown nothing since cousins and judd were around to help him out.

that would make more sense

i wouldn't swap Ball for Kerr let alone throwing in an extra draft pick

Surely not...why would we do that at this stage of the season.Luke would feel like he has nothing to play for.

plus we would be trading a hard nut, even, fair footballers footballer

Honestly, I'd take that offer in a heartbeat.....

I think people are forgetting how good Daniel Kerr is.....

You have to remember he has "NO ONE" around him.....he's a lone soldier, I watched him tear a game apart this year just through effective handballs to his team mates in space, the guys a gun and he would make us even better, let's not kid ourselves.

I would be dissapointed if we didnt hold onto our #1 pick this year. I think we have plenty of experienced players but a good group of youngsters as well. I would like to ad to that list

BTW what does 'GOP' Mean?(excuse my ignorance)

As if a side that is 4 weeks away from playing finals would start discussing potential trades.

exa ctly if anyone thinks this has even a grain of truth in it is seriously deluded. Not saying it couldn't happen at trade time but not at this time.

a bit off topic but this one is no good anyway.....BUT

if we manage to win a premiership in the next 2 years-would anyone be happy to see gilbert go to the GC. and if so for what. if he continues his current developement nothing less than a top 10 and another first rounder for mine. maybe 5 and 13

Kerr would dominate in our side.

He's got no one to help him at WC. Look at Embley...

With Dal, Hayes, Montagna and Goddard helping out Kerr would be back to his 06 form in no time...

But no chance will we trade Ball and our first round pick for him.

Sorry, but as a long term Saints supporter and a Western Australian resident for over 27 years I don't want Daniel Kerr at the Saints at the expense of Luke Ball. There has to be some loyalty shown on both sides here. Apparently Luke hasn't ticked all the boxes lately but when he is on song he is a great in and under player to support the likes of Lenny and co. We don't need to trade Luke Ball.
