Would there not be a press conference for Max? Surprised that this sort of news would come out at this time of the day...unless he announced it after training? Did he get through training ok today?

I believe you may be right. He had a clean out on the hip this week and maybe when they where in there is was worse than expected....

Actually had an operation 2 weeks ago. He isnt going to retire yet.

Doubt Goose would retire either, he may leave but not retire. I think its Allen, was on crutches after the game last week.
