I'm loving it. Will definitely be wearing a Saints scarf tomorrow. I really need to get around to getting my 2009 one though.

Probably the most enjoyable 15 minutes of my life the second half of the last quarter.

Just lolling at all the people that wrote us off.

We have one hand on the Cup.

Already heard "you lot wont get within 15 goals of Geelong" from some misguided oaf in Pies gear who clearly by that statement has his own team going out in straight sets lol

Some people are happy not being happy.

How could you possibly complain about today's game. We had nary a passeneger. Eddy, ball and Raph were the only players who don't score more than 5/10 for today's game. And you know what, they all did their job. Eddy did some great things in close in that third quarter. Set some goals up. Sure, Bally can't kick the ball further than twenty metres but he went in hard and played okay, and raph, dear Raph, our loveable scapegoat! But even still, it was so satisfying. We compltel;y dominanted them and perhaps should have won by more and could have if we didn't try to slow the game down.

If that is all we have to complain about, then it must have been a great day!

I'm with you there Debi, I'm loving it too and I am resolved to be gracious in victory for the rest of September.

Don't want to hit the hay because tonight I know we're going to win the flag, the sad sacks can suit themselves.

Realistic?

If we make the GF we have one hand on the cup.

Not perfect, but Lenny, Dal, Roo, Chips, Gilbo, and Mini were close to perfect, and that's not a bad average in one game.

Let's face it. It's out of us and Geelong. That win was the most impressive finals victory I've seen in 40 years of following the saints. There's a look of certainty about the way they're going about it. Something I've never seen from the saints before. Geelong at full strength and firing on all 8 cylinders is the only thing standing in our way. Having said that, we have the structures, discipline and belief to handle the cats. I know it's scary folks, but I think this whole campaign has the whiff of destiny aboout it! Enjoy the ride!
