Milney!!!

The old Milne dog had an absolute shocker today, easily our worst contributor.

He didn't look like getting into the game at any stage, although he did bob up and kick that goal in the last.

I think the last bit is the difference to the past , he would have done no team things and kicked 0.

Not amny small forwards have ever performed well in finals as a general rule.

Geez, I couldn't have disagreed more.

I thought it was a classic example of how Milne has improved as a player.

He laid 4 tackles inside 50m ... CRITICAL forward pressure.

He led up the ground, and took 5 or 6 marks providing a critical link between the play.

Certainly not his best game on the scoreboard, but I thought Milney contributed really well ... shows how he can influence a game without needing to kick a bag.

Tried hard, things didn't go his way. Could be one of those guys that lights up in 2, or hopefully 3 weeks time though.

Kicked an important goal too, shut the gate did our little Milney!

thought the same - good contribution from milney - maybe some only notice his effort when he kicks goals.

None of the dangerous small forwards had much of it...either side
