Decorating The Town Red, White and Black

Post: # 826839Post Maxstar22 »

Apologies if this thread has already been put up...

How and where is everyone decorating their house, office, street, car etc etc.....

By the end of today, my house and office will been nothing but Stkilda.

I have noticed that the Town Hall hasn't put their flag up?? Don't they normally put it up at the start of the finals series? Maybe they will put it up today.

Streamers all over the loungeroom, roof, walls etc.

Balloons around the arch way and front porch out the front.

Scalf permanently out the car window.

I have a big 4 foot by 3 foot sign my husband made and put up on the roof of house ( looks so good) and will be wearing my scarf loud and proud around Perth. I think I may even decorate my office tomorrow when I go in....

People driving down Nepean Highway are in no doubt who our house supports.

I have stuck two rolls of contact onto my White Ford's bonnet. A red roll down one side and and a Black roll down the other. Looks like I have painted a St Kilda flag on the bonnet. Getting a lot of looks whilst driving and my wife is refusing to drive the car until it is all removed.

Get two cans of paint, one red, one white.
Put red can hanging from car tow bar.
Puncture bottom of can.
Drive down left lane of Nepean Hwy at constant speed.
Repeat with white can, only use the middle lane.

Frankston Council has shown their support of the move to Seaford and have Go Saints banners up all through the district. Unless they all got pinched after Friday night!

At home I think there'll be a few streamers etc decking the place plus my old saints bed spread getting some use again as a flag.

Thx BB, I was wondering how to do that coz tape is too narrow. Got a black car.

That is legendary stuff.

My car is black so I'll need to do some stripes I think. But will wait until we win it. I have other more "discreet" ways to dress it up. Let's hope you can add an 09 Premiers on it next week.

So that is how one can repossess one's car from the wife.

***BUMP***

Subtle, but phase 1 completed.

If we win, I'll paint the grilles red and white.

And, phase II also done...

Very nice - I will look forward to photos of the completed job next week !!

I think I would have been a bit more subtle if my car was not on a one way trip to the wrecker's yard !!

PS

Note that the photo of the Bowey Wagon has sneak preview of Saints 2029 Captain !!

Anyone seen the front of Molly Meldrum's house in Richmond?

He has had an incredible mural put up. You all gotta see it!

I think I'll try and get some pics of it next time I'm in the area.

Got a Saints flag and scarf in the front window

Apparently Church St in Brighton is loaded with Saints gear. One of the cake shops is even doing black, red and white neenish tarts (blue and white ones too, but I choose to ignore them)
