Kerry duo Tommy Walsh and David Moran are poised to reverse the recent trend and commit their futures to Australian Rules side St Kilda.

A report in today's Irish Daily Star suggests the Kerry stars will replenish the declining numbers of Irish in the AFL by signing for the Melbourne outfit in the coming weeks.

Well both have been mentioned as linked with the Saints this year....so lets hope so.

Having two Irsih Rookie at once could only help.

That we are up and about as a Premiership Contender could only help in attracting them.

If we do get them...it could see Begley given another year to act as their mentor.

Love to see Roo taking Walsh under his wing.

Would be terrific to have a couple of Irish lads, and as sRr mentioned, having them both at once will help to ease the transition! Am particularly excited about Tommy Walsh if we can land him!

To be sure, to be sure...perhaps we could get Guiness as our new sponsor.

Could still be up in air
Pretty vague article sounds like it was written by Aunty Maud's second cousin twice removed as a favour for not baking at the county fair.

I came across this too. Not sure if anyone's already posted if:

He's solid for a gaelic footballer. Seems to have good skills on both sides, albeit with the round ball.

I know phuck all about Gaelic football but he looks good to me.

Can't you tackle someone to the ground in that code?

The comments on youtube are promising...
"Oi've seen him play da last tree games for Kerry loike and he's deceptively strong for his soize. An Oirish legend, he's the prodigy of Gaelic football"

can't stand these europeans personally:-

1. they're irish
2. they're bloody irish, and
3. the only irishmen who ever made it big in AFL have either gone back to ireland or write about their ongoing health battle's via a social networking device
4. did i mention they are irish?
