Seize the day Armo...

Post: # 841326Post saintsRrising »

Armo you played a better game that Ball in Tassie...and you can kick goals..

Time for you to seize the day with a huge pre-season and to demand by performance Ballie's spot in the midfield.

You need to work on your defensive game..and your tanl....but your better finishing skills could bea big plus.

Agree. Aussie Jones's retirement opened the door for Jason Gram.

Door has opened for Armo.

I hope Armo has a huge pre season. Right now he has got all the motivation in the world. Surely the coaches will say, look mate, you've got the ability, there is now opportunity, have yourself a huge pre season and you could be a 25 game player next year.

Agree. I hope he has a ball busting pre season to work on his fitness. He is often criticised for this and was probably justified in the Hawks game when he was blistering for three qtrs and died in the last. I think he's great and deserves a chance.

Now or never, next year was always going to be a huge year for Armo, however now he needs to step up for the club as well as himself!!

The question is now who will they bring from collingwood and will Dave be competing for the same spot with someone else. Personally I don't care. When he is here in two weeks I am going to give him the biggest G up to try and get motivated. I believe this HAS to be his year to step up. Time to get serious Champ.

I'd rather a first round pick from Collingwood, I dont really rate any of their players, leon neon fluctuates, medhurst dont know, only player I would rate is Harry O Brian, and we already have a strong defence, so better to get a young player from the draft.

Hopefully Ross has eyeballed Armo already saying that the spot is there if you want to work hard enough to EARN it.

CJ is case study on what the right attitude can do.

Armo/ Steven/ X all vying for the midfield spot vacated by Luke.

+ Another draft pick/trade to provide depth for the outside mid position and/or fill the medium Tall spot.

Did he? Didn't play many games.

Personally I think Jack Steven is a better prospect.

I think Armitage should have first crack in the midfield, I think he will be a player. I just hope he; a) has a great year in 2010, b) doesn't leave for the Gold Coast.

Well he did get dropped after a 13 tackle game. I think he's definitely shown something.

Opportunity has presented itself, up to him to make something out of it...it's not a given, he has to work for it.

I'm still not convinced about this guy. Like Jack Steven a LOT more.
