Is Matty Thompson a magpie surporter
I am sick and tired of hearing Matty thompson on SEn radio about Luke Ball during Trade week. Robert Shaw said we done the right thing for not letting go to collingwood for nothing.
the way Matty talks about all the time he must be a magpie surporter.

As a journo Matty Thompson could have jumped one way or the other on this issue, depending on where he could get the most sensationalism out of the story;
He chose the "Poor Luke" story as the way to get more reaction from neutral (and perhaps Collingwood) fans. To do this he needed to "sink the boots in" to St Kilda, portraying us as the villian in all of this. This also meant that he would get those fans with a dislike of St Kilda on-side
Had he chosen to question how Luke (and Connors & Collingwood) were ever going to get him to Collingwood, it would have been interesting to St Kilda fans but not too many other people. It would have also required him to step on a few toes, namely Connors & Collingwood. He took the coward's way out and chose not to pursue the story from this angle !!

His voice doesn't bother me too much...its more what he says and they way he tries to over sensationalize everything. When he hosts on his own on the week ends it is so annoyingiwantmeseats wrote:I dunno, but either way he is a knob !
