Tonight's crowd...
looked VERY POOR on the TV. Looked like half the stadium was empty, and lots of those there were Swans supporters. Poor effort if true Vic Saint supporters.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

How noble of them. Did they hand in there match payments too?Winmarvellous wrote:So what if it's NAB Cup. They can make the effort to get out and play.
I'll be honest,I didn't go tonight, as all my saints friends felt the same as me.....couldn't be bothered. Get a better look at the kids on tv anyway

OH for goodness sake..
There were 11,000 there give or take.
Last night drew 17.000 for 2 Melbourne clubs with BBBH making his debut for the Doggies
North and Geelong drew 14,000
Of course there were plenty of (Melbourne-based) Swans fans there..how often do they play in Melbourne in the course of the average season?
Virtually everyone has to pay to get in..its live on Ch 10...was never gonna pull many more than that
Want a crap crowd?...7-8,000 tops for the North-Freo game tomorrow
Amazed that L3 was open actually

Agree, especially seeing as it wasn't until about 15 mins before the start that L1 seemed to start getting crowds.saint66au wrote:OH for goodness sake..

I could actually see the stadium where i was last night, but was enjoying dinner with friends.
All I needed was qtr by qtr scores, and got them from a friend at the game.
If I not doing anything next week, i might turn up, hope it is againts Freo, we might get 5k there

Think most of us think 'whatever,it's just the NAB cup. Nuisance games that can bring nothing but injuries. When you come within 5 minutes of winning a premiership and getting your heart ripped out and all you want to do is fast forward 12 months, then honestly, who cares about a practise match.
