Dear Mick

Post: # 903694Post Batnoe »

Malthouse was saying they missed their chances because of their kicking at goal

Hey Mick, we never looked like we would lose...

We had 411 touches you had 297, you just didnt have the ball

How about you get the ball before you start saying you missed your chances...

Muppet!!!

Yes you had more contested possessions than us, but that is because we were always on your arses....

You have a while to go young Mick before your mob of dehros will win a flag..

Now on your way young fella!

How many of the 17 were clear chances? Probably 6-7 same as our points.
Hoy many of their misses were shots under pressure, from 50 out or from tight angles.

They chose to go via the boundary and with the rolling zone flooding back through the corridor the majority of their attempts would always be difficult.

If they chose to take more risks and set up through the middle - who knows we may have won by 3/4 time!

How long will it take for the Filth to wake up to the fact that Cloke kicks for goal like he is wearing one?

They have no key forwards or defenders, they are mediocrity that plays above themselves.
This side has no chance of winning a flag with their current list.
The reason they do well against the Bulldogs is because they both have similar deficiencies.
But when they play us, Geelong and Hawthorn who have real forwards and good defences, they get smashed everytime.
They make the finals because of accomadating draws and they recruit poorly.
The two big names they got, we're not what they needed, just maintained their status quo, and like the band they are repitive with their results.
Malthouse had it easy at West Coast when he had a state side, but he hasn't got close since, even with the two Grand Finals appearances 8 and 7 years ago.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Forget which of their players it was, but there was a set shot at the southern end that was the worst kick for goal since Motlop in Tassie.
And, here's some advice Mick, if your skills are no good you might want to draft some players who can kick!

Goal 1 - FREE kick against Dawson to Cloke for blocking off the ball.

Goal 2 - FREE kick against Dawson to Didak for academy award performance in falling to ground after being bumped.

Goal 3 - MARK after Dawson let Sidebottom slip in behind him without picking him up.

Goal 4 - MARK to Beams, Collingwood taking advantage of umpiring immunity with Armitage? in the hands of the trainers having been fellled off the ball without free kick, Riewoldt limping off.

Players can't kick.
Who do you think has been the coach at Collingwood for the last 10 years.
Coach can't coach maybe.

only 2 of those shots of theirs where actually clear gettable goals... the rest were all under pressure tight angles and long shots

so say what you want about their accuracy but the shots they got where ones the saints wouldve been happy to let them have

Mick you should never have let Luke Ball take charge of kicking practice whilst you squabbled with Buckley.
