Roo and Gibson (Hawks)..same operation ..same surgeon..same week.

What are the odds on that?

why is it that gibson is out for 12 weeks and everyone is saying roo could be out for 16 or even worse, out until 2011?

Don't you mean both legs and an arm? However, if by some chance they should manage to save them, they will have no mobility. He won't be able to ever use them properly again! Can just see Nick out on the field in his wheelchair later in the year :P

It's all over for the Saints. We shouldn't bother to play another game this year as we are finished.

The media seems to take a sick pleasure in seeing Nick get injured. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

Yeah, it's hard to believe that people are getting worried by Riewoldt having surgery. And the speculation is ridiculous, considering the exact nature of the information we have regarding the injury.

And, who are the henny pennies? It's time people started to name the RL Haters, GT Lovers, henny pennies, sacred cows & chicken litttles.

Daniel Kerr now has the same injury as Riewoldt and Gibson.

Verdict for Kerr is 12 weeks.

Verdict for Gibson is 12 weeks.

Surely Riewoldt will be closer to the 12 than the 16 to forever being reported

Either a serious soft tissue injury or a stretcher from a head clash, nearly every match so far this year :?

During the Hawks-Pies game Dr Lloyd said we won't see Roo again this year. Terrible news I know but he is an expert on the injury even though his was off the bone, and at an later stage in his career, also said he felt sick and nauseous when he did his which Roo didn't seem to be. Come to think of it, he doesn't know s***.

lol!

How true.

I wonder how many Bicardi Breezers Dr Lloyd, Master of Medicine and Bullshyte, had had by that stage of the telecast?

Roo will of course do everything possible to get himself fit asap, but at the end of the day it will depend on how quickly his body can heal!!

Speedy recovery Roo!!

Being a bit hard there on the Velvet Sledgehammer guys!

Maybe Lloydy got his insight from hurling a bit of grass into the air, much like other similarly qualified experts see it in tea leaves, or by peering into a crystal ball

three tendon hammy's in 2 weeks

4+ head injuries in 2 weeks

Everyone is entitled to an opinion however crap it is. I wonder why he didn't comment on Gibson's hamstring?
