Rang club. He's not injured. Club remains tight-lipped on this situation and he's simply being 'not selected'. He's no Roo but in form he would be in our best 22.

What's his contract status??

Also, would love to know where McEvoy's contract is at??

Perhaps a couple of boys looking forward to getting a suntan next year???

I'll go with the wild theory that he is injured.

Unless he just likes to dress up in moon boots. Maybe he is Michael jackson and wants to do the moon walk.

Yes, I have been trying to sniff out this mystery also. All I have been able to find out is that he did train at the last open session (last week). And someone thought he might have a quad?

I think it is really strange that he hasn't played any where all year with no mention of it :?

He's had a quad injury since pre-season. Unsure why the club have not had him listed as injured.

Joins the main group this week at training so you should see him playing at Sandy this week or next.

Didn't make it this week, to far from my seat  But at least that solves the mystery. Even my "contacts" have been tight lipped when I have asked about him, hence the mystery.

I was in the Victory room after the Collingwood game in round 3.
Sean Dempster was interviewed and said he had an achilles tendon injury, and it would be 4-6 weeks before he would be fit to play.
That would be aprox. round 8 or 9

In any case Dempsters return is not going to help cure our biggest weakness, speed.

Went to the Vicory room after the game. No Dempster. Only Lynch spoke.

The moon boot alluded to would probably be at the family day back in March when he was seen with one on. That would make it a lower leg injury, not a quad, so the achillies is the more likely case. Those that have had achillies problems will know that they can be quite troublesome and even become chronic without several weeks rest & rehab. Lets hope that he is able to return to playing this week or next and strike some form even if it is only to put pressure on the 'current' best 22.

Has anyone ever seen Sean Dempster and Andrew Lovett in the same room at the same time?

Considering what Lovett has been charged with, that is pretty tactless comment.

Apologies if that was impied, it certainly wasn't intended that way.

I saw after the game last night as we were leaving and he was heading away from the rooms on the city wing. Didn't appear injured thought it was odd that after the game he wouldn't be in the rooms?

I have just found out he has had a fall out with the club and only wore the moon boot to hide the fall out. Apparently he didnt even have knee reconstruction a couple of years ago. Sounds like he will not be back at the club.
