Just came home with paper, could not believe it. The use of our emblem makes it even worse, what a lame effort to drag out a bullshyte story, but I guess we should expext that from the hun craptorial
and if a player is the father of her child he should be liable for some sort of payment and maintenance?
certainly makes you think should wear a glove before you love?
Not having a go at you Dan Warna, but a lot of people are making assumptions that the player/players didn't use a condom & that they're reluctant to assume responsibility for the child when it is born. How do any of us know what happened on the night/nights in question & what arrangements have been made for financial & physical support?

No we shouldn't. That only encourages them to think that they get coverage.
Ignoring it and/or boycotting the Hun is the only way to get the message across.
P.s. this Robyn is no feminist if she is doing this blog. A real feminist would acknowledge a young woman's right to enjoy her body as she pleases, with the sort of privacy that everyone, male or female, should enjoy.
Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...

Agree, would like the club to take some action, don`t know what they can do as far as the law goes but maybe we can put a ban the access to our players, its not like we get much positive publicity.
Do not now how mitchell can say that the AFL code of conduct was broken, cos if it was then it would be broken a 100 times a week
poor guys are not expected to be MONKS-- yes to be carfeull and use good judgment but golly they are human and it HAPPENS
actually as interesting to follow up with the Demetriou interview which would give a little hint to more of the issue.
Just read the Demetriou comments about players not allowed to vistit schools because prior incidents. Liike to know eho they are and which club.
Intersting to note that they were cleared by the AFL, but I wander if the hun would print that part of the story

Exactly.
Why do people presume the worst? The players may have taken precautions, and neither might actually be the father. In fact all we know for sure is that a girl told her teacher that she is struggling with her vce exams because she is pregnant, and that she has had relationships with at least three AFL players. Even if that is all true it doesn't mean she has not had relationships with other people as well.
If nothing illegal has occurred it should be left to any individuals involved to deal with any issues privately.
