Mini hasn't been locking down, that's why he'll be at Sandy in the rain and hail on Sunday.millarsaint wrote:Caution - don't want to lose our forward pressure!
I know Mini has been missing, but hard to gauge his impact with positioning when locking down.
Tackle and pressure Lynchy. It's not all about marks and goals.
But they are nice, like peanut butter on toast.
Tom brings a different look to the forward line and one that I'm looking forward to, going forward.
Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Mini should get back but has been a bit quiet. Lynch looked ok in the nab so hope he does a Jack Steven and kicks a bag.
I'm not sure what the idea of structure around the bombers is but you would think Mc evoy might mind Hille a bit tighter. Lynch and steven are a couple of extra small forwards that may chip in if we aren't scoring. Steven may get a bit of a run on the ball leaving Lynch as a more permanent forward.
Anyway kick a bag Lynchy.

I thought he was meant to be a mid size forward? Bigger than he looks obviously. Shouldn't have claimed small forward status for him. But not key position either- unless you count Hammill. Sydney always looked harder to match up on because of that size of forward, he could be a master stroke if it works.

And how's the 'Oh F***' look on the Hawks ruckman...

I'm looking forward to what he's got to offer. It'd be an extremely nervous and anxious time for him and I wish him all the best!
I've absolutely loved the rise and rise of Jack Steven! Consistency and determination wins you game time with the Saints, you just need to have a dip and give it your best shot!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Nathan Burke
Austinn Jones
Andrew Thompson
Steven Baker
All five went on to top 10 numbers. Agreat breeding ground No 29!
