Can he get some kms into the legs before September? Does anyone know how far off he is?

This is at least the third thread I've read lately asking when Raph will be back, the implication being that we need him.

Who'd have thunk it?!!

Judging on Friday nights performance, we definitely need him.

he's a good player.

some see only his mistakes.

i'm not blind to them, but i can see what he brings to the side in terms of creativity.

it would be good to have him up and running with some kms in his legs come september.

for one thing, he generally smashes collingwood.

Agree 100%

The frustrating thing is though just when he looks like he's really finding form with a couple of solid games he's gets injured and the cycle repeats itself.

he's cursed. he was sensational over in the west against fremantle or the eagles (i can't remember which), then went down just as he'd hit top gear.

If we are relying on him we are in trouble. Not because he cant play but just injuries. The way I see it if he plays its a bonus.

Is young Nicholas finished for the year already? I read where he was concentrating on getting ready for 2011.

I thought that Raph was set to play for Sandy today. It appears not, and I doubt he will come straight back in to the senior side, so it will be at least the North game before we see him !!

Love the guy to death, but Raph's not known for his ability to find form immediately after he returns from injury

Raph told me at the H of F last week that he would play in 2 weeks for Sandringham, that would make it next week on Sunday

Should be interesting to see if he'll be selected for to play in September, even if fully fit.

Don't underestimate Raph Clarke's importance to this team. He is deceptively quick, and he's the guy who's always there in support when team mates are in trouble and looking to offload a handball. You only have to look back at lást year's preliminary final to see what he gives us. He reads the game very well.

Sure, he makes some outrageous errors at times, but let's not ignore the good stuff he does. His leg speed is critical!

Seems like the staff are being conservative with him. It's been at least 6 weeks.

Another opportunity awaits!

It would be nice to have all of Fisher, Gilbert, Gwilt and Raph in the side together...they all have the ability to run and create, and you can't tag all of them.

Next thing we'll be hailing the imminent return of Tony Delaney to the back pocket.

All will be right with Tone back in the hot seat! :D

On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. How about Leigh Fisher? Could he be given a run?
