And it is not "corporate speak", it is just that Lyon is avery analytical coach and that Lyon focuses on how he want players, and the team to be.
Ross has always talked very technically...knows his stats backwards etc.
One of his mantras has always been based about playing correctly, and if you do that the result will look after itself.
this has included that players have set performance expectations.
Dal was dropped for it.

Peake is now playing as Lyon wants him to play.

I think whats being lost in translation here is Lyon has the ability to back up his spin with facts/figures.
