Team for this weeks P.F.

Post: # 986371Post mohannair »

Was thinking of any changes we will make for this week? Gut feeling is that we will keep the same team that beat Geelong.

Any thoughts Sainters?

geary wasnt in to come out.
so bakes would have to replace dempster or eddy.
id risk bakes over one of those 2.

that's a tough choice to make in dropping either of the two, because if remember, they both were quite handy in our win over the handbags.

Stiff for Geary to be dropped from a team he wasn't in...

Bakes is a chance, either for Dempster or Eddy.... Everyone else is safe... Armo and Steven are no hope...

No Change is looking likely though.

Bakes will definitely play this week, because we need him in the Grand Final.

I think McQualter will play with Rob Eddy being the unlucky one.

We need Bakes against Collingwood or Geelong so I reckon he will play this week. If it fails and he is underdone, we still should be able to get across the line but if it pays off we have a big in come GF day.

Therefore my team would be as follows:

B: Bakes Zac Gwilt
HB: BJ Chips Gilbert
C: Joey Lenny Gram
HF: Schneids Roo Peake
F: Mini Kosi Milne
Foll: Gardy Dal Jones
Int: Benny Blake Dempster Ray
Emg: Eddy Armo Steven

Well, it would be a good match to bring him in as far as a potential matchups go. Ross may play him on Hooper, because we really don't have another defender capable of playing on a small.

I reckon Bakes will get a run this week.

I think Dempster may be the unlucky one.

i think eddy will miss for bakes this week
come GF day id play dempster AND bakes

cats and geelong have plenty of good players and both dempster and bakes will be required imo

eddy will be the casualty again in the GF

Thats a perfect match up, Bakes on Hooper. Bakes will be under done but his experience may be handy to get some match fitness.

Dempster did a great job on Johnson. He kicked 2 goals Johnson, one from a lucky free kick and another after giving away what should have been a free kick. I'd keep Dempster in but I'd drop Eddy for Bakes.

This.

I don't know why everyone is so quick to want to drop Dempster. He was fantastic on SJ, didn't give him a sniff all night. And as Matrix pointed out, all teams remaining have a number of quality players who will need to be shut down - rendering both Bakes & Demps REQUIRED players for this week and (hopefully!) next.

Agree.

Can't see Dempster being dropped given his performance against the Cats and Lyon's obvious faith in him.

For me it'll be either Bakes for Eddy or no change.

Hasn't Dempster been dropped nearly every week only reappear after a late change just prior to the match?

Dempster out for Baker.
