ST KILDA's Adam Schneider will miss the first two rounds next year after being booked for striking Collingwood's Brent Macaffer in the third quarter on Saturday.

Even an early guilty plea will leave the Saint to carry a dangerous 95.31 points through the 2011 season.

No action was taken against teammate Lenny Hayes from video scrutiny of separate clashes with Magpies Alan Didak and Dane Swan.

Hayes was let off for contact to Didak's upper arm in the second quarter which was considered below the force to be a striking offence.

And the Norm Smith medalist in the drawn Grand Final escaped penalty for the same reason following a third quarter clash with Swan.

Magpies forward Travis Cloke is also in the clear from a clash with St Kilda defender Zac Dawson in the opening quarter.

The incident drew 225 points, but the 100 per cent loading for Grand Finals swelled Schneider's penalty to four matches. But his five-year good record and pleading guilty will halve the ban.

A bit of competitveness for spots this coming season won't hurt.

I don't think there is an hour in the day my mind says "if we did this, or had done that...." The point is we DIDN'T! Such a long bloody season to end the same way (or thereabouts) as the season before! It'll be hard getting some voice up in 2011.

Schneides could have at least knocked Macaffer out cold whilst he was at it

Is it just me or does Macaffer have a haircut that makes him look like someone has put his head down the toilet and given it a royal flush?
