Jihad ban remains on commercial food

Post: # 1049517Post saintspremiers »

I read an article in the HUN stating that only domestically
prepared food can be brought into the venue.

So be quick or careful once again when smuggling in a subway or kebab from an outside vendor!

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Or stuff it into your backpack and walk straight past the "security". They only check bags where ppl take them up to them. If you enter one of the "end" turnstiles and keep walking, they never check !!

ITs just dumb
What if the "Commercially prepared food" you want to bring in isnt actually available inside??

Now working just a stones throw from ES, Ive discovered the Origami Asian place on the concourse does seriously nice Vietnamese rice paper rolls. Fresh, yummy and 3 decent sized ones for $5.00

Dont recall seeing anything even close inside the stadium, so why try and stop people bringin it in??

Take a tupperware container with you, ditch the packaging and whack your RPR in the TW.

The security aren't to know that you haven't made them at home.

Thats if you've got a back pack.

A decent size thermos can hold a souva or a subway roll also.

You've gotta think outside the square people.

Arrive earlier, park at harbourtown for $5, enjoy a nice meal under (what should be) the big wheel at one of many food venues, then take a nice stroll through the shops on your way to Etihad.

Other than that, nothing beats my chicken schnitzel rolls.

Yep
We often do that with sauce and mustard.
Get a production line going with clear roles and responsibilities
- dog extractor sits next to the
- roll opener then the
- tomato saucer then the
- mustard saucer then the
- hot dog holders.

The strange thing is that once the attendant on the gate told us it was not appropriate to bring in china cups as they could be used as missiles.
He told us to bring in plastic cups in future.
Yet he didn't have a problem with a solid thermos weighing about 2kg full of boiling hot water. :D :D

Just chuck your food in a rolled up jumper and walk straight in. Done it so many times and never been pulled up for it.

How about you just dont buy food?

The average Australian should be able to last around 3 weeks without food before they get ill. im sure you can last 3 hours, you wont die.
