He can run his opposition ragged on a wing. He'd be brilliant at soaking it up in defence. Terrific at bringing the ball back into a forward line. He's not a goal kicker...not even close. But running any opponent off his feet and winning the ball in open ground. He'd be just about unbeatable!
Do we bring in a few new forward options? Tom Lynch? Give Gamble another shot up forward?

)Seriously though. One of the fittest guys in the league, and I believe we're wasting that gift on our forward line. Let him kick it like any other midfeild player given the chance. Maybe it'd boost his confidence knowing that it's not his job.
No offence to Roo, but on a completely separate note; give Goddard the captaincy next year! It'll just flow naturally from him.
