Blake. Should we make a move?

Post: # 1077238Post thejiggingsaint »

I noticed a snippet in the herald-rag while @ the barbers today, and it said that mark Blake would not be playing again for Geelong. If he became available, should we be pursuing his services as the other ruckman with Ben?
maybe trade someone?....but WHO? (and would the Cats want them?)
I reckon it would be worth a go.

Stanley destroyed him at Sandy a couple of weeks ago.

I ws thinking more about the loss of Gardi, and the fragility of Kosi's form (wherever he seems to play) From all accounts Stanley is way off the pace of becoming the AFL player we hoped he would be. (from some of the posts here by folk who watch Sandy regularly) Well. back to the drawing board...or spider solitaire/mahjong or minesweeper! for me!

I'd be looking at Minson- given the situation with Roughead and Cordy coming up at the Dogs

Given our current problems, if we are to look at anyone they must be a very good tap ruckman!

What do you want. 2 ruckmen who can't ruck are worse than 0 ruckmen who can't ruck.
0 don't cost anything and you can play someone else in their place.

I'm sure a Judd or Ablett playing for us would get loads of clearances even with Macca losing the hit-out stats. Lets concentrate on getting the onballers and midfield winning their contests as that is our major concern

Would be an interesting dynamic as King is our ruck coach. They are not the closest of mates.

Why would we want this bloke, he was gifted a Premiership because his old man all but cried to any one that would listen.

Absolute DUD!!!

There is more upside to McEvoy and Stanley than this bloke ever had!!!
