Who would you prefer

One of the consistent things that seems to happen in our games is that a very good opposition player goes down early.
Selwood, Jack, etc.
Who would be the biggest loss for the filth on Saturday night if this pattern is repeated.
For me, Swann.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

But Selwood and Jack going down early didn't help us much did it?

Nobody.

Saints strength is their preperation.

Nothing unexpected, no changes, nothing that catches anyone off guard.

Roles, roles, roles!

If we are hoping that players go down for us to win we are in trouble. Roo going down in Round 3 last year v the Filth year didn't exactly help them.

But I would pick Pendelbury over Swan BTW.

What's this flying to Arizona bull dust anyway? Hopefully the old grey haired goat will over train them and they will start getting some injuries. Probably not, but I can hope.

dont talk like this its bad karma!

if ur asking who i think the pies most damaging player is - pendles or swan because of their clearance work - this is a strength for them and a weakness for us. So we really need to try and not get dominated on the clearances.
If we cant break even on these we will be under a stack of pressure.

I agree Con, I don't wish them ill - I wish us well.

Having said that i saw the deflation when Pendles went doon in 2008! He's a cracker that kid.

Another thing.. Melbourne, Fremantle and Collingwood (and you can count hawthorn) don't have their number1 ruckman playing.

Funny thing is we've played quite a few clubs who lost great/very good players early, forcing them to use their sub early, and it didn't help us.

Last week we lost our star early, forcing us to use our sub early, and we won easily.

Lesson learned? Not worth worrying about.
