Training June 8

Post: # 1087271Post tony74 »

Only stayed an hour and a half- It was FREEZING. As said before Joey is out. As far as I could work out everyone else trained- it was fifficult to tell as they all wore different no. jumpers( Roo was Ray 22 and Gwilty wore 44- I knew that wasnt yapper!!!!! )
Gards and lynch and Kosi all trained full on with the group. Kosi was the lead up forward and surprisingly shared that role with Tommy Walsh. Lots of encouragement for Tom so wouldnt be surprised at a call up. After every excercise or training routine Roo was told to take shots at goal ( working on the fatigue idea I guess ). As I said I thought everyone bar Joey trained. You woulldnt believe how different they look in the wrong jumpers.

Thanks mate.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Walsh called up and tried in a few different positions.

IMO Ross has made it clear that this is a year for developing the list. Consider it a minor rebuild, similar to what Sydney often do.

He just needs conditioning- did all the work-sprints etc and showed no discomfort. Shared ruck duties with Mac.]

After listening to Ross, it's very clear that he has a different mind set now and is living with reality.

Doing a great job - most professional coach we have seen at the Saints. :!:

Just let me live to see the next flag. I've been to 7 grand finals involving the Sainters( unfortunately missed the 1913 one ). I wasnt able to celebrate the flag as I was only 10,, so I have YEARS of drinking to catch up on when we finally get that holy grail.
And we will get it.

watching the video I'd say there's a case of pick the 'tough guys' or the Wimps...
jumpers with hoods up and long leggings as opposed to the WA boy in shorts......
evne the Irishman appears to have ' rugged up"
