used to love the run
now i panic when he gets it
he was fine in this respect last week. one of the worst games i've seen him play tonight. nothing to panic about, he's still a very capable player.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't believe it's a "coincidence" at all.
He probably feels responsible for inflicting her on all our lives and I dare say when she's all over the news it takes his mind off what he's supposed to be doing. He was dreadful tonight.
I feel very sorry for Gilbo. More than any other player at the club I genuinely feel we have a duty to show him that we still rate him and want him at our club.

Have to say I was thinking exactly the same. Even if this last lot of publicity doesnt relate directly to him each time she rears her ugly head it must bring everything to mind for him again and put him in a bad headspace.
Shattered dreams are just opportunities for improvement. Live and learn, fail and try harder. 2011 beckons.
He was started up forward last night and I believe he needs to play half-back where he has the ball in front of him, and he can run down the ground.
The confidence seems to disappear when he is played out of his comfort zone.
I know we need another forward to help Roo but i don't think Gilbo is it.

I thought he looked a bit 'off' in that way too. May of course have simply been a shitty night.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

He had sex with a girl. It turned out to be the girl from hell.
