Riewoldt - The New Sidebottom

Post: # 1088228Post ashjam »

Nick was ok tonight, but he looks weak this year, meaning he is getting pushed around off the ball so much.
He is definitely nowhere near the player he was.
Remember Gary Sidebottom who was an absolute star when he started at the Saints, and by the end he was completely hopeless.
The resemblance is getting eerie.
Nick is getting worse as every game passes, what has happened to him?

Bad post . He does so many gut busting leads in a match only to have the ball either delivered at his feet or on top of his head where his opponant can spoil , FFS the foot skills of the saints is terrible , Bj and gwilt appear to be the only two who can consistantly hit a target over 35 metres away . Fish is ok but usually kicks short , the rest turn it over far too easily . Tonights game was the prime example , our relentless endeavour should have won us the game by ten goals , yet our atricious foot skills kept the dogs in the game .

Interesting comparison.

Nick needs a full forward to take the pressure off him. If only Fraser Gehrig was 5 or 6 years younger :(
